On $11 an hour, Jersey man made millions

I'm guessing you were thinking this was goingto be about some guy who built an internet biz out of thin air, got rich in 4 minutes and retired.

Unfortunately, that's not what this story is about.

It's a great story about a guy from Jersey (hey I have to represent my state from time to time ; ) who just managed his incoming cash correctly, managed his expenses and inuested what was left over.

The process was rather ORDINARY.

The results were EXTRAORDINARY.

and I just HAD to share it with you to inspire youto do the same with those hard-earned workers of yours.

Workers?

Yes, workers. You have hundreds, if not thousands oftiny little workers working for you as I wrote in my book The Secrets of Wealth: The Beginner's Guide to Financial Freedom

They're called dollars or pounds or euros or whatever free cash you have every month.

Point them toward a wealth-building pipeline and you'll be able to live a life that most peopleonly dream of.

Here's Paul's story...

Paul Navone is one of those quiet millionaires next door.

His friends had no idea he had money until he started giving it away: $1 million to a college and another $1 million to a prep school...and that's just a piece of what he's given away.

The 78-year-old retiree never made more than $11 an hour while working in the New Jersey mills, according to a story by Joe Logan in the Philadelphia Inquirer, and to this day Navone buys his clothing at thrift stores, and doesn't have a TV or a phone.

Okay, so that last part is a bit extreme, but he saved his money and started buyingrental properties.

He lived off that income and inuested theincome from his day job.

His investing strategy?

This is what his broker said:

"Paul has always been the perfect client. He gave me money and never took it out.He took my advice, he stuck to a plan, and he reaped the benefits of it."

Navone, who lives in a small house in Millville, said, "My motto back then without realizing it - and it is now - is that I'll work for the money, and then I want the money to work for me."

SIMPLE, yet effective.

EASY to AUTOMATE and something everyone should aspire to doing.
You don't have to live like a miser and you can figure out to what degree you want to live below your means.

Just do it.

The Law of Attraction is BS

Law of Attraction Gobbledy Gook

Not really sure how to spell "gobbledy gook", but it's the only way I can describe one of the biggest misconceptions about The Law of Attraction.

Let me explain...

Friday is my breakfast splurge day. I eat pretty healthy from Monday through Thursday, but on Friday I get a nice ham, egg and cheese sandwich in a wrap. If I'm feeling devilish, I'll have bacon instead of the ham.

Well today I got the usual and I head to the checkout counter and I see that the woman is reading The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

She sees me put my food down and take out my money.

She has to finish writing something on a cue card (glad to see her taking notes), then place the book down in her little area. It doesn't fit well, so she nudges my plate over, marks her page and turns her attention to me.

After entering the order, taking my money, she counts out my change, coughs on it (don't we all have a cold this time of year) and hands it back to me.

What's wrong with this picture?

a) She's reading a book while on the job?
b) She coughed on my money?
c) She wasn't reading my book The Secrets of Wealth?

It's actually all of the above and one thing more.

Do you know what it is?

I'm guessing she's expecting SOMETHING FOR NOTHING. That's what 99% of the people reading The Law of Attraction, The Secret and Think and Grow Rich.

They want to read a book, think positive thoughts for a weekend and wake up a millionaire.

I loved watching The SECRET. More because of the way the "author" Rhonda Byrne took dozens of experts, interviewed them and made a movie, then a book out of those interviews.

Brilliant stuff and it made her a millionaire.

Now don't get me wrong, I DO believe in The Law of Attraction and the importance of eliminating NEGATIVE thoughts, but you have to DO SOMETHING in order to get ahead in life.

You have to STOP SPENDING MONEY in order to get out of bad debt.

You have to LOOK AT PROPERTIES to find a great buy that has a positive cash flow.

You have to Buy LOW, do your analysis and monitor your stocks in order to make money in the stock market.

You have to WRITE DAILY if you're going to create that next bestselling book.

The formula is simple:

In order to achieve [insert your goal here] you're going to have to [insert some form of work and effort here] and you have to keep on doing it, adjusting along the way, until you achieve your goal.

There are no shortcuts and CERTAINLY you can't get their without DOING SOMETHING to get there.

So back to lunch lady.

I'm guessing she's sick and tired of her life and her job (why else read a book like LOA, right?)

She probably thinks she should be paid more.

Probably thinks she should find the love of her life.

But is she really DOING the things that will get her WHAT she wants in life and get her to WHERE she wants to be in life?

Had she woken up early or stayed up later at night, reading her Law of Attraction book, got to work early, given 100% of her mind and physical effort, who knows, she might become the manager of the store one day.

Or maybe get a raise or....

You get the point.

You've got to take ACTION and do a little WORK to get anywhere in life. There are no shortcuts in life. Well, maybe if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, but then again, we all can't be Paris Hilton or one of those other annoying heirs/heiresses.

So we've got no choice but to roll up our sleeves and DO SOMETHING about it.

Get to work. Your Financial Freedom is waiting...

PS, I'm not knocking The Secret or The Law of Attraction. I own both books, have read them several times and even watched The Secret movie. The point is that you can't just think and grow rich - that was NOT the secret inside of Napoleon Hill's classic book.

THE ATTENTION AGE DOCTRINE VOLUME TWO

THE ATTENTION AGE DOCTRINE VOLUME TWO: WEB MARKETING 2.0

At 93 pages, this FREE report is simply a MUST READ.

The quality of writing, editing, layout and design is nothing short of fantastic. Rich has always put a lot of effort into his free reports and if you haven't read his FREE Internet Marketing Manifesto, then you're really missing out.

The report slowly builds from start to finish and I do suggest that you read all the pages, but if you're strapped for time, you can skip the first few pages as they are mainly a build up for a problem you know you already have: Information Overload.

Million Dollar Home Page (page 16) is an inspirational quick blurb that will underscore the importance of getting attention. The more attention you get, the more money you can make (and the more people you can help too!).

Paris Hilton makes roughly $7 million a year and she does NOTHING. Well, nothing that you'd expect people to get paid for but she commands a LOT of attention and she's getting paid for it...very, very well.

Rich points out that it's getting harder and harder to command attention. TV viewership is down, there are something like 433 million websites and 15 billion web pages.

OUCH. Try standing out in that mess.

Page 25 has a great graphic that crystalizes who will win in this new era of attention-lacking consumers.

Right after that, Rich gets into the concept of MAVENS (popularized by Malcolm Gladwell of Tipping Point fame).

In short, YOU want to become a MAVEN. Someone who is trusted and people turn to for information. The more you become that go-to GURU in your niche, the more ATTENTION you're going to get and the more people are going to spend with you.

The concept of piggybacking is nothing new, but his example on page 29 makes you green with envy.

A scary thought about the fact that other people control YOUR IMAGE and what people think of you (page 34) will remind you to put out GREAT CONTENT and not senseless sales pitches.

HOW TO TRANSFORM YOUR MARKETING EFFORTS FROM SIMPLE COMMUNICATION TO AN IN-DEPTH CONVERSATION
Starting on page 37, Rich goes into detailed action mode. You can start reading the report from here if you really want to save time.

1. Map Your Market - Who are you going after?
2. Monitor Your Market - What's being said already?
3. Join Your Market - The most important step


Then once you've joined the conversation, it's time to really step things up...

1. Build Your Market - Important to build your reputation and credibility in the marketplace.
2. Lead Your Market - You need to become that thought leader.
3. Sell Your Market - This is where most people start...and if you start here, you're going to fail. No wonder most people fail.

DEADLY BLUNDERS THAT CAN INSTANTLY CRIPPLE OR EVEN KILL YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS
Starting on page 40, he covers 4 deadly blunders...

1. Your Marketing Cannot Defeat a Community - Duh. You alone can't overcome what others are saying about you.
